| Description: | Second Chance Animal Trust was founded in September 1995 after the closure of the local animals' home in Norwich. With this in mind SCAT started to raise money for a new animals' home. While doing this, SCAT achieved a successful rehoming programme, including vet and pre-home checks.
In July 1997 SCAT secured an animals' home in Norfolk by renting the Central Norfolk Kennels and Cattery at East Tuddenham. This gives them accommodation for 24 dogs and 26 cats. It is a dream come true - but to secure the future of the animals' home, they need money to pay for rent, food, vet bills and general maintenance. They rely totally on donations and fund-raising events.
SCAT is run by a mad crew of volunteers who are besotted with the care and love of animals. In the cold wind and rain, sunshine or snow - the care is always there.
