The charity is behind the National Cycle Network, Bike It, Safe Routes to Schools, TravelSmart and many other groundbreaking projects. The award winning National Cycle Network is a comprehensive network of safe and attractive routes to cycle throughout the UK.
The first 10,000 miles of route was completed in September 2005.
Sustrans' work relies on the generous donations and monthly standing orders of nearly 40,000 Supporters, and the support of charitable trusts, companies and the National Lottery.
We also work closely with local authorities and many other partners. |
