| Central Africa Rights & AIDS (CARA) Society CARA (Charity No. 1101373) is an independent international charity that relies on its members and the generosity of the public in securing donations and legacies so that it can continue the work it provides. Its objectives are to promote justice, health, education and social development by relieving poverty, sickness, HIV, AIDS, cancer, hardship and providing free information, counselling, community law centre, legal advice, advocacy and referrals on debt, immigration, employment, welfare, housing, job search, drug misuse awareness, family mediation, testifying in court, translation, interpretation, overseas aid, water and sanitation for lonely, needy old people, disabled, and underprivileged children and other persons in the UK and Africa. As CARA needs your support to improve the lives of the poor and build a stronger community in Africa and the UK, all funds raised are used to support causes where they can “make a difference”. - read more |
